Appearing on Hugh Hewitt's talk radio show Monday afternoon, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz declared that "the overwhelming majority of violent criminals are Democrats." Calling it a "simple and undeniable fact," the Texan senator claimed "the media doesn't report that."
