Watching Newt Gingrich's 104th Congress convinced me the GOP had flipped out. I Got a job leading field work with the Sierra Club and later Minnesota Clean Water Action. that genuine assholes are few and far between. Once you walk away from mass media for a while, and the net is part of it, you start to realize people are fine, it's the minority of screechers on the net and the clueless media who think those screechers are where it's at in the country today who are useless and killing us.
