To withdraw tax free status for those churches which participate in partisan politics. But there has to be the political will to do so.

Maybe we could start with this.

There would be a helluva first amendment battle to go further. And that wouldn't be easy or quick.

That is my thinking.

So I don't know about the witness protection part. He's fairly well protected as it is.

At least I think that is how it would work.

Are you sure we should be attempting to alienate those groups of voters? Or maybe you think Bernie will be attracting so many NRA votes that we don't need to hold Obama's coalition together?

If a church owns commercial property, sure, of course it should be taxed. But the property their House of Worship and schools are on should be tax-exempt, just like other non-profits.

Just a reminder: there is this little thing called the US Constitution that requires churches to be treated like all other
non-profits.
