Based on what we are seeing early on in this election cycle it is going to be one hell of a ride until next November. And all bets are off as we slide deeper into lunacy in this country. I would be that we have not seen so much hatred and division since the Civil War. Personally I am not looking forward to any of it either.
Now that racism and bigotry is openly showing its ugly head and supporters are coming out enthusiastically the fight for the country will be historical. I simply stand by in awe that these ugly candidates are given so much legitimacy by the cooperative media. The Sunday shows are a really sick example of where we are now.
To see murder and mayhem being excused so callously and calls for assassinations by certain clergy that go unanswered is appalling. What we are starting to go through is unprecedented in the 21st century.
As far as I am concerned things began to really start downhill when John Kennedy was assassinated. And it probably was conspiracy that will never ever be uncovered now. The records are sealed well into this century so only future generations will know the truth.

(40,416 posts)The narrative of the GOP is astounding! The fact that there are actually quite a few people who take them seriously is in itself simply stunning.
We are either in deep, deep poo-poo, or the GOP implodes next year. I do not think it will be the latter.

On a positive note, he said they didn't like any of the current Repubs. They want Romney back. Hehe.
