McCarthy Out In Chicago - Now The Mayor Needs To Resign.....

Rahm is announcing right now that he asked for McCarthy's resignation. He was made the scapegoat in this cover-up of the police shooting of McDonald - 16 shots pumped into a black boy.

Why didn't this come out earlier - because Rahm had an election to win. He wouldn't have won if this video came out before the election. Chuey Garcia would be the mayor of Chicago now.

Rahm reminds me of Eddie Haskell of the Leave it to Beaver show. He's a model on camera - but behind the scenes he'll screw you every time.

Trust goes right up to his seat as Mayor. I don't think the people of Chicago can trust him anymore. He needs to resign.

I wonder if Alvarez will be next to be fired or resigned.

6. That's not an article. It's an opinion piece

It's pure speculation.

There's no doubt early release of the video would have caused erosion in the black vote for Emanuel. Would it have caused it to collapse to the point where Chuy would pull out the run-off? I doubt it. Emanuel beat Chuy by A LOT in most parts of the city. Yes, he won the black vote. He also won the North Side white vote by a mile - it wasn't even close. So, this columnist could have easily done the math: does Emanuel win with a 10% erosion in the black vote? How about 20%? 40%? 50%?

It's just not a persuasive argument. If Chuy hadn't got his ass handed to him in the run-off it would be more believable.
