Lets say all use of fossil fuel ended tomorrow. What would happen to our world. Could renewable resources pick up the electrical load for most of the world. How many million tons of produce and meats would rot, without refrigeration. How many million tons of food would rot because it could not be delivered to the millions of people that need it. How many million workers in the world would have to walk to work without auto, trains, buses or airplanes power by fossil fuels no longer available. How many ships at sea would founder for lack of power? Be careful what you wish for.

We cannot continue down this path of trying to sustain people who solely exist to consume resources.

But there are about 7 billion people on this plant. All of them consume resources What is your solution to the population problem?
Do we adopt Chinas 1 birth per couple policy? Shall we rely on the four horsemen of the apocalypse to thin these billions to some sustainable number?
