She said that it was good they could confirm that it's unrelated. If it's a completely false report then maybe, but if there is an unrelated SWAT situation, that's still bad.

No idea if it is related, on the scanner there was some talk about sending some cops to check reports of guy in camo at a mall but that was the waterman discount mall in san bernadino.

It is at least a few hours drive in light traffic, which never, ever happens in SoCal, especially when going near Pasadena.

San Berdoo is way on the other side of the valley adjoining an entirely different mountain range.

Oddly enough, one of the reporters said that drive WAS possible, in the time between attacks. Never in my experience.

And San Berdoo is not even close to Pasedena. It has to be a three hour drive in light traffic, which never, ever happens during that time of the day approaching Pasedena. And there really is only one route that does not slow one down further.

If it was coordinated, it almost certainly is not the same people driving from one scene to the other.

My hypothesis? The entire country has gone barking mad.

I know the route well. During weekday afternoons it is brutal. And there is no other way to get from San Berdoo to Pasedena unless one takes side streets.
