Seriously. As far as I know, the reason a woman has for aborting up to viability is none of your or my business. Do you know the many possible reasons for terminating, even based on gender? Let's just try one possibility:

Baby daddy has threatened to beat the crap out of mommy and kill the baby if it's a girl.

Here's another:

Pregnant woman hates girls in general, including self, and is afraid of how she will treat her.

And another:

Woman cannot afford to raise a child but believes raising a son will be significantly cheaper than raising a girl.

These may not be good reasons for you but for the woman making the choice, perhaps they are.

I don't know why you posted this especially following it up with your personal commentary. Are you telling us that some women are able to make their own decisions but others need your help?

As a woman and the mother of two daughters I feel personally insulted and attacked by your post and its mixed message.
