How much evidence is there of "union thugs" intimidating voters in recent elections?

I just read a blog comment by a known troll on education sites suggesting that "union thugs" intimidating voters to vote Democratic is a fairly regular occurrence. The only thing I can think of is the incident in Philadelphia that turned out to be nothing. Is there something I missed?

Quite frankly, I suspect that Republicans screwing with vote counts, etc. is far more prevalent than any imagined thuggery.

Does he have evidence? Links to reputable news sources? Photos? Bruises from where "union thugs" kicked his ass? Because without that, tell him you have no alternative but to assume he's lying through his teeth.

And how would "union thugs" force someone to vote Democratic? One of the things poll workers watch for is that people go into the voting booth individually, not in groups. I realize that logic isn't the long suit for nincompoops like your troll, but how does a "union thug" intimidate a voter standing all by his or her lonesome in the voting booth, ballot in hand?

Sheesh. It's like they aren't even trying anymore.

Apparently, one just has to search for "voter intimidation unions" and all the evidence is right there. Of course, everything that comes up is a bunch of right-wing nutjob websites, and precious little (to none) actual verifiable evidence.

around on their parents shoulders at the Madison protests last year... some of them would wear signs saying "thug". Those are the only "thugs" I ever saw. And they were way too young to be intimidating.
