What does being person of they year in a dying magazine mean? Literally the magazine has turned into a pamphlet. I remember when it was a thick magazine with robust articles. Those days appear gone. Newsweek no longer publishes and only time before this is done.

media is dying. Hopefully we can squeeze a bit more public opinion through them.

5. For sure, but to have him elevated to the same level of the long history of Time's Persons of the

Year would have been a Huge Boost to his Huge Ego.

Huffpost has been a bit unsteady as to how to classify him. They put him in their Entertainment Section for awhile, but he kept rising, so now they just cover him with negative things. Still too many photos of him on the site.

What to do with Trump is becoming a media slogan all its own. Fascinating, if nothing else. Embarrasing also comes to mind, as well.

But I am happy to not have to look at Trumps ugly face when I go to bookstore, grocery store etc... And couldn't stand to watch him gloat and act like he won the Nobel Prize!

2. Absolutely. At first I wondered why Merkel? But the way they described her, I was

in agreement.

We don't get so much of the European news, but she has been politically courageous in the heat of a number of political and financial battles. I also find it agreeable at how the world has changed when we have a German citizen, yea leader, as a global example of peace and humanity.

10. It was never going to be any candidate, it would not be appropriate, they have never done so and

should not start. It's silly to think that they would. Sitting Presidents, sure. But not candidates during an election.
