On Thanksgiving morning the Bingham family headed to the cabin they rented in Bear Lake to celebrate the holiday. Eager to play in the freshly fallen snow, the Binghams headed outside with their GoPro. It wasn't long before one of the children stumbled upon what he thought was a dead kitten, buried in the snow. However, both the family and the kitten refused to give up, and after a struggle that lasted several hours, the adorable kitty was on the road to recovery. Check out the video below to see how this sweet family not only saved the kitten, but also helped it find its forever home!

(55,894 posts)Truly a miracle and heartwarming.
Though I would have named kitty Snowball (they named him Lazarus).
The family (or Dad) did a good job putting this video together.

(78,249 posts)You know, from Frozen. Mom and I had a kitteh named Elsa years ago, from Born Free. Mom's boyfriend had been calling her "Ferret Face", but as she matured she grew out of that. We couldn't decide what to name her, so Mom put a bunch of paper slips in a bowl, and kitteh picked out Elsa!

(68 posts)They are proud, however, and they explain to their human visitors who they are and reveal that cats have three different names: the one the family uses daily, the more dignified name and a secret name. It is the cat's contemplation of the latter that keeps felines in deep thought.
