The city of Plantation, about 30 miles north of Miami, is seeking to shut down their display that it deems a public nuisance. The couple ... starts planning their "Hyatt Extreme Christmas" display in July, begins decorating in October and switches on the lights the day after Thanksgiving ...

His neighbors .. say strangers knock on their doors asking to use the bathroom, cut through their property to see the display and leave trash in the street ...

1. So awesome! What a great neighborhood.

My neighborhood is good (everyone participates) but nothing like this. We have our gate done up too. It is so awesome. We have 77 homes in our development and everyone is in the Christmas spirit. Coincidentally today was the Christmas cookie exchange. Fun and yummy!
