Religious Right Goal To End Secular Government. Cruz Is Their Anointed One.

Cruz is the most dangerous candidate because he represents a constituency that is determined to establish religious biblical government. Sure Trump is outrageous but Cruz is probably the worst. And billionaires are betting he could win the White House. They accept prosperity biblical scenarios because it benefits them by disregarding inequality issues.

The electorate can kid itself all it wants, but theocracy is possible and RW Christians are plotting. The inroads already made against reproductive rights show how dangerous these zealots are. And the Moslem backlash plays right into their fear politics.

See stupid voters think he will be good because at Christmas he literally will say Merry Christmas in his speaches. What they fail to realize is that he will bring religion into everything and chose what you are allowed to do and not do based on his religious beliefs. That is what is so dangerous with voters. They don't look at the big picture....his supporters only of course.

I'd rather die free than live as a slave to the Domininists. This false Christ can go back to hell where he came from, AFAIC.

"who would you rather have their finger on the button"? Well not a Waco who wants the end of the world to fulfill mythical prophecies , that's for damned sure.
I would prefer someone who wants to protect mother earth and the future of their grand children.

Everyone, from center-right to the left, needs to wake up to the danger that dominionism represents to this country and the world.

From Rational Wiki:

Dominionism (sometimes used interchangeably with Christian Reconstructionism and theonomy, see below) is a political and religious philosophy that seeks to make the United States government a Christian theocracy. (Most Dominionists try to avoid using this name. Regardless, it is usually applied to any Christian movement with these explicit or implicit goals.)

Dominionists believe that the civil laws laid down by the Old Testament (as distinct from the moral laws such as the Ten Commandments) should be enforced by reforming the U.S. legal system along theocratic lines, which would entail a substantial increase in the use of capital punishment. They also believe that that biblical injunctions regarding slavery should be followed.

Dominionist theology and millennialism:

Dominionism is often connected with the theological position known as postmillennialism, which envisions a period of one thousand years prior to the eventual Second Coming of Christ during which the "Kingdom of God" will gradually gain ground against the forces that oppose it. For that reason, these "hard dominionists" usually work towards a general Christianization of society in the belief that this will help bring about the "Kingdom of God" and (after a thousand more years) the Second Coming.

In this, they differ from the premillennialists, who believe that the Second Coming itself will mark the beginning of the millennium and that Jesus will do all the dirty-work; thus, they tend to focus more on the conversion of individuals than of society as such.

I recommend following the links in the RationalWiki post on Dominionism
