“The Big Short” A must see..and...

...It’s fascinating, entertaining, funny yet horrifying... Depiction of the global meltdown back story which began in 2007.. By the time the film ended I was simply disgusted..Best part about it besides the acting was the manner in which it simplified a complicated financial structure (credit default swaps) and made it easy to watch and understand..

I feel that it is important to recommend this film to as many people (friends) as possible..

It shows clearly the need for more govt. regulations and the need to elect more politicians ( Elizabeth Warren) so that events like this will never happen again..

Not a very good promotion in the paper, BTW, except to announce how FUNNY it was.

What kind of "funny" would be behind that kind of advertisement?

For all here who don't quite understand how deregulation of the banking industry after the savings and loan debacle (that we've all forgotten by now!), VIEW IT!

You WILL understand. They managed to explain it well. I didn't read the book. Did anyone else?
