Among bettors, Trump has now moved into the lead--just by 1 cent, but still this is the first time I think he's been the favorite there: https://www.predictit.org/Market/1233/Who-will-win-the-2016-Republican-presidential-nomination
It might just be temporary, but I don't think he's ever been in the lead before among gamblers.

Chris Christie 5 %
Any of those 5 will be a disaster if they manage to get elected President.

(3,194 posts)One of those is going to be the nominee, and if Hillary is our nominee, there is a fair chance that she will lose.
I'd prefer having someone that I could deal with, even though all the options are pretty depressing.
At a glance it appears that Cruz is the scariest of the bunch. Trump is certainly a loose cannon and a wildcard, but it seems like even he is not as far off the deep end as Cruz.
I wish someone could reassure me that at least one of the top 3 won't be horrible for this country's future. I really am worried that Hillary, should she get the nomination, has too much baggage and too many that hate her, to win next November.
