That map is inaccurate, in Missouri, you need a CC permit/license, at least from what I heard...

Doesn't that mean background check? Registered firearms? Security may be looking for the illegal guns unlicensed people may be carrying.
Good place to hold a gun buy back program.

Only about 7 or 8 states have registration requirements of any kind, and Texas isn't one of them. But yes, open carry requires a concealed carry license in Texas, and getting that license requires a background check.

I still don't understand why people are so willing to have untrained people carrying around extremely lethal weapons everywhere.
