but yes, it is dog whistle speak. We know that, because all the hounds are howling.

We may have to invade Grenada, too.

In his case, and in his supporter's case, you are correct about the dog whistle.

Prefect twist and yet extremely fitting for the subject in question.

But I don't think he means anything by it. What I think happened was he was watching Nazis: Evolution Evil marathon followed by The Rise of the Reich, reruns and he thought, "Hey it worked for Hitler it will work better for me, cause I am the donald ... just change Germany with America and bam winning logo." He stole the idea from Hitler, tweaked it, loved it and now he owes it. Not a good thing to be associated with at least IMHO.

and the rest from big biz USA. The dump is total loser. Sadly he is not the worst of the lot running for prez. The Senator from Canada scares the shite out of me in a really creepy way. The dump only scares me at times. But mostly because of his fan base. Them be some crazy. The other creepy guy has dumb and crazy for his base.

"Make America Great Again" is in the ears of the hearer. For some, it doubtless means the purest of White Supremacy. For others, it is simply a palliative for weltschmerz. It evokes some misty, non-existent time when men were men, women and children obeyed, Superman fought for Truth, Justice, and the American Way (whatever the hell that is), and Batman wasn't some violent psycho. The 60's and 70's were a time of consciousness-raising, and people were so uncomfortable with having their consciousnesses raised that they elected Reagan and went back to sucking their thumbs. Well, we are in similar strait now: despite the best efforts of the media and ruling class, people are having their consciousnesses raised again, and those who don't like it love it when Donald tells them he'll fix everything and they can go back to sleep. Although there is a solid core of haters at the center, there probably are a few on the peripheries who are more interested in denying sundry truths than facing them. Certain candidates on the Left hope that they can energize these people to face up to the task of actually doing something, but I am not sanguine: I think they mostly just want things to go away, and this Donald promises by "Making America Great Again."
