Ferguson effect... can you say civil rights leads to criminality? Oh and yes, we need to professionalize the police, (while arming them to the teeth), and never, ever see or speak of the actual issues of colonialism and structural racism... never.

Yeah, I want to stop reading and pretend I never learned any of this...

And yes, Jim Crow was replaced by another form of "race free" racism, where we still blame the victim for it as a society.
