(656 posts)He's got the voice that is the equivalent of Sarah Palin. Nasal, high, a little slurry too. He's promising that he will do everything possible. Immediate action! Care for the children! More bottled water and filters! Nurse visits to kids with high lead levels! Educate the community for toxic stress! Go to helpforflint.com to donate!

he is urging all the poor people in Flint to go to an internet site. I can't even get my 56 year old brother to use a computer, lotsa luck with that one.

You citizens pay all the taxes, all the time for businesses that
-Screw the people in this state in terms of wages/benefits
-Reap in high end tax benefits that WE pay for at the expense of what we want for our families
-Contribute to education on the cheap
-Starve revenue from cities and hire exorbitant Emergency Managers who create more emergencies that cost Michigan tax payers more money
-We didn't do it, it was the other guy
-I didn't do it, it was the last guy
-The Federal government stinks, why isn't the Federal government being responsible?
-Hey, let's bail out the auto industries, again, by funding their expansion into mobility transportation so we can keep them in this state so we can pay higher taxes, again.
-Provide opportunities for economic improvement for people who have to beg to get their kids educated fairly, be able to take a bath in water that isn't poisoned and be able to send kids to college without taking out a 2nd mortgage.
Rick doesn't want politics and fingerpointing to get in the way of our better, brighter future.
End to a dose of pink pixie dust covering this know nothing-do nothing governor and legislature with "relentless and positive" inaction.
