She kept excel spreadsheet on when we all came and went. I forgot to deduct hours one time due to a flat tire I had that morning ( I truly forgot) and she turned me in. She also did it to a pregnant woman who didn't even work for the same company.
She got escorted out and fired today because she tried to sit in a man's lap. Karma is such a bitch. I want to taunt her on FB. We are not friend but she has no privacy set up.
Bad idea? I really despise this woman and I am not alone in this.

I truly hate her.

Move on. You have recovered and she is paying the price for her hubris.

(14,912 posts)This woman probably doesn't even remember YOU, yet you have been seething over her for a long time. Do you know what that means?? SHE HAS WON! She has taken over your mind, living in your brain, rent free, for all this time while probably never giving YOU a 2nd thought.
It's way past time to let go of the hate. IF you think it will make YOU feel better to taunt her, go ahead and do it, if that's what it's going to take for you to get her out of your head, and life, for good so you can finally move on. There is no "one size fits all" solution for this. YOU are responsible for your own happiness, YOU have to decide which is the best way for YOU to let go of the hate and find your inner peace again.
Whatever you decide, I hope that it works out well for you and the hate stops consuming you.
Peace within, Peace between, Peace among....

Enjoy the karma. But no sense poking a wounded animal who probably has no recollection that you even exist.

(20,582 posts)especially in that way .... but, bad idea, imho. Your next potential employer might find out about it somehow and be turned off (even though I completely understand where you're coming from). I bet she'll know that you and the pregnant woman fired are not feeling badly for her. Oops, missed that you have another job already. I'd still be afraid to do it though.

(20,582 posts)Yeah ..... I have to say, I actually agree with everyone else here. Don't burden yourself with more than you need to, life is hard enough. Mark down her name on a piece of paper, crumple it up and throw it out.

(21,188 posts)A neighbor who've I had for 22 years died. He was such an SOB. He did a lot of bad stuff to my family and other neighbors. 4 of us families got a restraining order. Against him. He sent me some nasty mail. He used to call my autistic son a retard while we were waiting for the bus and in the afternoons. He had a stroke a few years back, a pathetic guy. My neighbors came to my door with some shots of whiskey the other day. I was out with my son, coming home my husband said, very seriously " I have something to tell you". I found out the a hole died and I was so happy, then I felt guilty for rejoicing in the passing of this jerk. I then told my son who looked at me with the biggest smile said that was good news!
So I get your struggle.

(1,958 posts)Was part of this woman's job duties to keep track of the hours of the employees?
If so, well, then it's difficult accept, but she was doing her job. (I can't beloeve someone would get fired over a flat tire and the subsequent time working differences.)
Years ago, I had a job in which we had to keep track of our time depending on which project we were working. We used Steno pads to keep track of our days. I hated doing the data entry into Excel. I ended up getting far behind. So far that my paychecks were being with-held. (I was singleand it was a good paying job.) I finally got caught up and made myself do the entry at the beginning of the following day.

In an "at-will" employment state, you can get fired for any reason--or no reason.
To the OP: I agree with the others, I wouldn't post anything on FB or whatever. Might come back to haunt you.

(37,365 posts)You don't get revenge in the way you want. But you may get some measure of justice. And you have to be satisfied with that.

(16,386 posts)But it may come back to bite you in the ass. Facebook trials are never a good idea. It WOULD be super, however, if you ran into her in person at some point, played stupid, and asked her how things were going at the office.

(8,646 posts)that you are now going to retire, I'd do it. Here's why...and I've explained my reasoning to other people before too because I have a tendency to not let certain things like that go with certain people (karma schmarma) and the reason is this:
People like that, if they are not called on what they do, tend to think they are getting away with it. Instead of 'being the bigger person' you are actually enabling that type of behavior.
Now, granted, I'm assuming she did that on her own time to be a control freak and to tattle on other employees. If it was part of her job I'd probably let it go. I do have to say that the fact the company would fire you over something like that proves what a ridiculously idiotic company they are.
I'd probably just leave an anon link to a meme or a song about what goes around comes around or something. But I'm passive aggressive like that.

(2,193 posts)Was incomptant at it. She was a nosy busy body and ratted everyone out. But not the men. She was one of those goody goody employees who judged everyone else and was a Republican.
She constantly tried to find fault with others. Everyone there really hated her.

(5,400 posts)Might even be a legal angle you'd want to avoid. Also, bear in mind that a future employer might check the record of your social media history. If this blows up into a feud, the record of it will be there.

(2,193 posts)She kept a spreadsheet of what time everyone came in regardless of where they worked.
If she imagined the smallest of slights you were on an enemy list. She was like Nixon.
She reported people because she didn't know how to do her job and she was ignorant. All of had degrees. She didn't. She loved George W. Bush.
