We aren't expecting a few feet - more like 6-12 inches. Already planning to go to the movies on Sunday afternoon.

19. We got three feet

We seriously thought this was going to be the winter that never was.

Last year they kept predicting "Kabooms" that fizzled to ice events. And on Christmas Eve morning it was in the 70's - I had all my windows and doors open. Then we left for Costa Rica for two weeks and 8 degrees when we landed in Philly but still no snow. We are planning our 4th anniversary trip today - my husband is highly motivated after snow blowing for an hour yesterday and having what he started with covered in 3 inches of snow!

7. I bought a gallon of milk and a new snow shovel.

The new snow shovel is to replace the battered one. The milk is for hot chocolate while I am taking a break from snow shoveling. I think I am ready.

10. My brother is in Baltimore and he said that it just started snowing there, not

too bad yet. Nothing here in Boston yet.

11. I dunno. We're in new Haven and all ready for the onslaught...I'm just hoping that it

won't be THAT bad...but the shoreline looks like it'll get a dumping...

We'll see. It is supposed to start coming down at 7 a.m....
