Sanctuary Occupation Talks Ended Quickly Per Daily Kos.

Prospects of an early or peaceful ending to the standoff looking more remote now that talks with FBI at an end. Buddy wanted the press present. FBI balked and he walked. Plus he and his entourage went to sheriff's office to ask for a meeting. Sheriff was not available. Other sheriffs had a short meeting which ended as they refused to argue the Constitution. Buddy was complaining about the FBI being involved. Does not recognize their authority in the matter.

Now it may not be if things boil over but when. And as much as we criticize the feds, I think they really want to avoid confronting these militia. And I also believe that their intelligence and profiling probably show these people will open fire on anyone who shows up from the federal government.

The desire to walk in on them and confront and arrest them is strong. But I do no really want that.

for sale, right?

So when the highest bidder buys Yellowstone, Yosemite, Waikiki Beach and your favorite local refuge or park, will you like that?

Is it OK for Koch Inc to own Yellowstone and either NEVER let you set foot there or they open it up and charge WHATEVER they want?

Think THINK think it through, people.

The Feds should give the sheriff the arrest warrants, to have them handy next time a Bundy shows up.

Truly bizarre.. incomprehensible really.

The sheriff is afraid of being arrested and tried by the Bundy group.

This is so un fukkin believable.

What PTB are in charge here? It certainly isn't the government or
law enforcement?

He will only talk to the FBI if the Sheriff deputizes the FBI negotiator. Sheriff says that is not necessary and he is not going to do that. Bundy then wants it in writing that the Sheriff wants the FBI involved. The deputy sheriff says no, not going to happen either. Bundy goes off in a snit. Tune in tomorrow when we hear Mr. Bundy ask the sheriff if he can have a do over on their previous conversations when he blew off the sheriff, which is why the sheriff no longer will speak to him.
