Does Citizen United mean there will absolutely be a brokered convention? On the Republican side?

I mean with nobody dropping out because the moneymen don't want to give up power, is it more likely there will be no clear winner by the time Summer comes?

a fascist would. He's just giving them what they want. Still it is a national tragedy for the USA. The whole Republican Party is.

but we will have to disagree as to whether he is a fascist or not. Many of his "views" are classic from fascists, such as the weakness and lack of energy of other candidates. Mussolini and Hitler did that, often. The hate on minorities, well... a little nationalism and get that government mixed with the state...

And then add a dash of militarism...

Yes he fits the mold of mid 20th century fascism...

And yes I did spend some lovely time reading Mein Kampf and a few of Hitler's speeches, who apparently Mr. Trump reads avidly, the latter mind you, and a few of Mr. Mussolini and added Franco and Pinochet for good measure.

was in 1948.

Citizens United has NOTHING to do with the possibility of a brokered convention. Really.

The Republicans have set up their primary/caucus system so as to virtually ensure the nominee is known early on. The Democrats, not so much. The R's will probably know their nominee after Super Tuesday. We'll probably drag on to at least April. But neither of us will have a brokered convention. Honest.

A brokered convention has been the wet dream of a lot of people for a great many election cycles now. Won't happen. Get over it.

they'd have to do real reporting, actually talk to people at the convention, stuff like that.
