A Cat From An Extreme Hoarding Case Get The Best Happily Ever After

http://blog.theanimalrescuesite.com/lola-humanesociety-lola/?

Lola is a survivor of an extreme cat hoarding case. Most of the time, animal hoarders truly believe that they are caring for these animals that would otherwise be homeless… but as you can see, that isn't the case at all. The cats are sick and living in deplorable conditions. But even though there is all this heartbreak, there is a silver lining for many of the animals who do get rescued. Lola is the perfect example of that. Look at her life now!

Rescued from one of the largest cruelty cases in history, Lola is a survivor. She may be blind in one eye and have no teeth, but it doesn't stop her from being the loving and spunky cat that she is. See her Forever Home!

Made me tear up. A heartbreaking and heartwarming story.

Hugs to all of us and our kitty-cat babies.

but my little girl was the worst off. You could practically see through her, this was the fall, and I knew she wouldn't make it through the winter. I didn't attempt to coax her, I just offered food to her and her other pack of semi-adult kittens. She jumped into my lap, and I took her in.

You really can have, in my opinion, these type of rescues by themselves or with one other pet that is completely domesticated. Mine has flourished into a wonderful, gorgeous companion that I love over the last 7 years. I can't imagine what to do with a cat that has been socialized to fight over food because they are in a den of a large number of animals, or dogs for that matter.

I guess everybody's mileage is different. I wouldn't trade mine for a million bucks, but I also wouldn't want any kitten to have her first 4 of 5 months what she went through, either.

My little guy was found abandoned with two broken legs.. One had healed on it's own, the other was set by the vet. We've had him three years now... I hope he has no memory of his past life, but who knows. We spoil him rotten.
