Is Trump looking for a way out?

His past "runs" were all for publicity and he bailed as soon as things got serious.

Why should this time be any different? He may think he'd be the greatest President in history, and it sure would keep him in the headlines where he loves it. But it is a job that has to be done, and he's never shown himself as someone who can sit down and actually do a job.

Is it possible that he got into it as a lark again, but his ridiculous stellar rise to the top this time made it impossible to just walk away? Could he be trying to sabotage his own race so he can quit for a "reason"?

Truth is, it's tough to believe that even his humongous ego thinks what he's doing is a winning strategy. If he does, though, he's even worse than we think.

I don't think he ever really thought he might win a caucus or a primary, let alone possibly the nomination.
