Robert 'LaVoy' Finicum shot and killed while charging police, driver says

BURNS – Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, the spokesman of the refuge occupation, was shot and killed after he charged police during a roadside stop north of Burns on Tuesday, according to a man on Facebook who claims to be the driver of one of two vehicles involved in the highway shooting.

McConnell said he noticed movement, and Finicum "took off" in the pickup with the remaining passengers. He said Payne and Cox described encountering a police roadblock about a mile north on the highway and apparently tried to get around it, becoming stuck in the snow.

"When he exited the vehicle, the rear wheels were still spinning," McConnell said. "He charged at law enforcement" and was shot.

McConnell disputed earlier accounts on social media that Finicum was shot while on his knees with his hands up.

I believe they are trying to "white lives matter" him, so to speak, equate him with the black kids who've been shot by cops, but the narrative is all wrong for the story they TRY to tell. I suspect suicide by cop is more likely to be true.

17. Yes, someone compared LaVoy's death to Ferguson last night

I was reading the comments at Oregon Live last night, & a poster who was irate that the majority of comments were anti-militants made the case of LaVoy's hands were up & he was on his knees, but the bloodthirsty Feds murdered him and it was worse than Michael Brown's death in Ferguson.

In other posts someone wanted to know why we pansy-ass liberals supported the Ferguson protesters but not them.

Good night Mary! There's no comparison. But he, and they really believe their righteousness. That's pretty scary and they don't care. It's all about them.

Also, lazy liberals should be thankful there are good patriots to risk their lives to save us from tyranny.
