President Cruz joins

President Gingrich, President Huckabee, President Bachmann and President Santorum in winning Iowa. Yeah, all them won Iowa too.

Put another way, Iowans are out of step with the rest of the country. I don't think Iowans could pick a winner in a one horse race.

Cruz has too many enemies in his own party to go anywhere except maybe a deep south state or Texas and get the repubs there to buy into him.

The type of Iowan who caucuses for that side is grossly out of step of the rest of even their own party.

tend to be very religious, at least from what I've seen since moving here (14 years ago).

So, they are going to caucus for the most overtly religious one.

"baby Jezuz freaks."

I don't mean to be offensive to Christians. But there are a portion of "Christians" who are living in a mean-spirited, ignorant ancient world where they don't want human beings with different opinions to exist.

Many would have found pure joy in The Inquisition, or the Salem Witch Trials.

This is where Cruz's "victory" came from. I don't think there are enough of these misguided "Jezuz" fanatics in other primary states who will back Cruz. Iowa is not representative of America. It's why I think that this will be Cruz's first and last victory.

version of religious beliefs here.

That is why I was a little surprised at how well Trump did in Steve King's district.

snake oil from one end of the State to the other. He is a vile and disgusting huckster who deserves to run out of the country (Canada or America) on a rail.
