I will never turn on AM radio again, the right talking heads will be doing nothing but:
"This means a republican in the white house next"
Ugh
Of course if he loses by a good margin their heads will explode LOL

(36,063 posts)The importance of the Wisconsin Recall goes well beyond the practical political outcomes. Yes, by dumping this governor or by dumping one more ALEC-membered WI senator, the current tyranny of our extremist majority state government will end...for a while, maybe until the next election, or the one after that...
WHAT THIS RECALL SHOULD CHANGE EVERYWHERE IN AMERICA (but probably won't) is thinking that the accumulated rights and privileges we enjoy, things that were won over the course of many long hard political battles are safely placed in bound volumes of law and will always be there to serve us.
The lesson of the Wisconsin Recall is that vigilance and protection are always required to maintain the gains granted to us by previous generations.

(145,321 posts)Even if Walker wins, he is not out of the woods. The prosecutors are ethically bound not to make any announcements or take steps that may affect the election but will be free to pursue Walker after the recall election.

(8,582 posts)Prosecutors charged four Walker aides with theft already. Like you said, the election is holding back prosecution right now.
