PHOENIX - Police say a woman has been arrested after her 5-week-old son was found in a car seat in the middle of a Phoenix intersection.
Phoenix police Officer James Holmes said officers responded to a call of a baby strapped into a car seat lying in the middle of the road at 45th Avenue and Cholla Street around 1 a.m.
The infant was taken to a local hospital to be checked over and is OK, Holmes said.

Holmes said Clouser had apparently put the baby on the roof of her car and got inside, forgetting the baby, and drove off.
