Last edited Sun Jun 3, 2012, 04:13 PM - Edit history (2)
He asked the question of David Axelrod, adviser to the President, on Face the Nation on CBS.
But buried in the question was the insinuation that the Romney campaign was not "negative" against Obama but that only the President was negative.
This President has withstood almost 4 years of negative assaults against him. The Republicans have attacked him since day one. Should he simply ignore those attacks?
Or should he stand and fight back? Should he try and put them on the defensive with attacks of his own? Only a fool would not fight back against this Republican mob of negative campaigners.
Bob Schieffer and others must sleep six days a week and only wake up on Sunday mornings, just before their talk shows?

(18,184 posts)on Romney's record so of course the MSM had to do a switcheroo and make the narrative about "negativity" instead of the actual issues.

(129,127 posts)It's RACISM. Pure and simple. The Congress, the media, and many across this country. I don't care what some goddamn DUers may think but from day one, it has been about the Black President and they just can't deal with it. Every single bit of fiber of their sorry existence is having a world-wide temper tantrum, full of spittle-filled fury and hatred, whether public, private, or in their subconscious, as they connive to bring down the world economy over this ONE man.
It's disgusting.

(42,760 posts)He should make it understood by the general public that we are in the mess we are in because of BushCo and the greedy obstructionist rethuglicans in Congresss who have made it clear they want Obama to be a one term President even if it means driving the country further into the ditch.

(14,093 posts)Yeah, the GOP is just a ray of sunshine these days.
The beltway media has their talking points ("obama's negative," "Bain attacks are failing," etc). Meanwhile, Mittens gets a pass on everything and is treated as if he's 100% positive (Never mind that he blatantly lied in his first negative ad out of the box)
