I find it quite easy to get along without them. Hell I will go beyond that I find it much more sanity preserving to get rid of the whole lot of pretend network news.

They are in general a stain on our national conscience.

Once you get rid of them it is quite easy to see the detrimental effect they have just by watching this place be lead around like sheep by whatever the TV is spewing on any given day.

It is actually quite frightening sometimes. The whole Ebola nonsense comes toind immediately as an example of the TV causing Americans to collectively lose their shit.

Also, I get much better facts from non-corporate online news.
People don't realize they wouldn't be missing much if the cut the cable tether.
