Just so that he gets the last laugh after that ridiculous question that was forced upon him at the debate.

His campaign was the first presidential election I have a clear memory about (I had some vague memories of 1984, but nothing too specific). I recall how depressed my entire family was when he lost. Although there was that one brief gleaming moment during the VP debate.....

Good article, with the exception that Dukakis mischaracterized the events in Ukraine as a "coup", which it was not. But he's spot on about most other things. Thanks for posting.

Not only very sad (as he would have made a fine president), but also quite shocking (as he was up in the polls for quite some time).
As for that brief, gleaming moment in the VP debate, let us return to relish it:

Sad he didn't shuffle off decades sooner. The misery he has caused will be felt for years to come, thankfully he is one of the last Reagan shit stains. I hope he is rotting in the hell he so believed in.
