Robot actually said "if I were in the Senate"

I assumed when I heard this, this morning, that it would have been posted, but didn't see anything.

Anyway, he actually said that at the GOP townhall last night.


"If I was still in the senate, I'd be one of the youngest people there."

What an ass.

He wants to raise the retirement age, and made what passes for a joke among Republicans:

But it won't look the same for me. I'm going to - instead of retiring at 67, I may have to retire at 68. If I was still in the senate, I'd be one of the youngest people there.

That'll be why people haven't made a big deal of it.
