Since the population proportions are quite different than on the outside, they're going to have a steep learning curve ahead of them. Hope it takes. Perhaps they'll all have epiphanies.

I hadn't thought much about that until now. I am sure they are in for years of rude awakenings. Oooh baby, fly on the wall time!

I know for a fact that most prison conditions suck really bad and bring amazing misery to most who experience it... but these guys deserve whatever they experience. though I suspect federal prison has a different patina, it's still strict confinement. I am glad they ended up in the fed facilities in Portland instead of starting in Nevada, they'd probably be out already if not for the state they were busted in. It's a different federal circuit court district they migrated into and that's where they were more easily apprehended and held without bail.
