The medias coverage of Trump has been soft, insufficient, and without substance.

Is Donald Trump in trouble? After facing hostile questions from Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Wednesday nightthey comprehensively laid out his flip-flops, presented him with damning videotape, and asked him to explain the inconsistencies in detailTrump was confronted by hostile audience members at MSNBCs televised town-hall forum. When a Muslim questioner got up to ask why he had said such bigoted things about minorities, Trump seemed to struggle while Scarborough forced him to respond. The candidate looked uncomfortable, unhappy, and somewhat lost. It could be a turning point.
If only. Of course, none of this actually occurred Wednesday night, just like it hasnt occurred once this entire campaign season. Instead, Scarborough and Brzezinski hosted what appeared to be a rehearsed and safe town hall, in which American voters asked the candidate such hard-hitting questions as Why did you decide to run for president? and how will you set yourself apart from other Republicans? It was completely worthless television, except in one sense: The program highlighted the many ways in which the medias coverage of Trump has been soft, insufficient, and without substance.

(11,001 posts)Mika and Joe were so far up Trumps butt. He said a lot of words and said nothing. He thinks just being president is being King, and the MSM will not call out anyone on these issues. What Trump, Sanders, Clinton et.al do not seem to understand is the congress controls the purse and the legislation. To get universal healthcare, to get the big wall, to get the 11 million deported, to get free college, to cut taxes, or raise taxes etc must all go through congress.
A Trump presidency would fail completely, because:
1. After 3 days he would be bored, then delegate everything to other people like a CEO does not a president.
2. Being narcissistic, he would be impossible when he loses to congress
3. The cretins that would vote him in will realize that after a few days, weeks, then have elected another Hitler type regime.
My prediction is this.... Trump wins the primaries, but not enough delegates. A brokered convention occurs. The RNC picks Rubio, Trump runs as 3 party or independent. This divides the GOP badly, give Sanders/Clinton? the win. I also believe the coattails in the senate will turn the Senate democrat again, allowing a progressive justice on the court, because..... Mc Connell is going to screw with Preident Obama on the supreme court nomination, which will be another unity point for our party...
