By Jason Easley on Wed, Feb 24th, 2016 at 6:33 pm
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) took to the Senate floor to blast Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans while revealing the absurdity of their argument against considering President Obama's Supreme Court nominee.
...
The people have made it clear that they want Barack Obama to nominate the next Supreme Court justice.
Franken urged Republicans to reconsider their obstruction, but the absurdity underlying the Republican argument was laid out for all to see. Republicans dont have a leg to stand on, but if they want to invalidate the last year of Obamas presidency, then all Democrats should demand that any Republican, who is up for reelection in November, cant vote, chair a committee, or participate in the activities of Congress in any way.
Republicans have picked a fight that they cant win, and Democrats are dominating McConnell and his Republicans on the Supreme Court argument.

Call it what it is, the fractured fairy tale of the Constitution mattering any more to Republicans. The are placing religion above state, and racism above decency.
