let's remind ourselves, if there be peasants, they be us.

But we are not peasants, whose duty is to serve. We are citizens whose duty is to decide, albeit often inadequate, and frequently downright bad, citizens.

Peasants is a word for those who believe, as those who lost out at the time of the establishment of our nation did, in a populace strongly divided by class. They lost then, big! When their counterparts today win ANYTHING at our expense, it is because we failed to guard our rights and our nation.

The more people in this forum, I think the more closely we define the truth.

In a "free country" no less. We need to take our country back alright, but not from those who use this phrase seem to think has taken it. We need to take our country back from the Oligarchs that have swarmed in like the carpet baggers after the civil war and removed legislation that would allow them to monopolize the media and more. When will the people of the U.S. Wake Up? When will the people of the world wake up, how long will we allow our resources to be usurped by a handful of people?

Oh, there are usually others involved, some belong to families, have boards, etc., but four or more are effectively owned and controlled by one person who has first and final say in what we will be told, if anything, and what slant it will be given.

Those people we see on TV and whose names are at the tops of columns are all employees, and most of the recognizable names like their jobs way, way too much for our good and know how to safeguard them.

If we continue to turn the country over to them we may as well just do this and forget about it. They IMHO are toxic.
