According to Gizmodo, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg made clear in an internal memo his disappointment with several recent instances of people crossing out black lives matter and writing all lives matter' on a signature wall at the companys swankily minimalist Menlo Park campus.
There are specific issues affecting the black community in the United States, coming from a history of oppression and racism, Zuckerberg wrote. Black lives matter doesnt mean other lives dont its simply asking that the black community also achieves the justice they deserve.

(118,677 posts)argue with the notion that all lives are important. It was only later that it was clear it was meant as a wedge and a way to gaslight black lives matter supporters. "All Lives Matter" redefines black lives matter, by people with wedge intentions, as exclusionary. Of course many fell for it and still fall for it. That is why Zuckerberg had to clarify company policy. Of course it is a wedge and meant to cause trials and tribulations for Democratic candidates. That is what a wedge is. Hillary and Bernie, when asked to repeat the words "all lives matter" should simply say 'it is a wedge, I refuse to condone wedge language'. The GOP lost the confederate flag as a symbol, they have replaced it with a wedge "All Lives Matter" which is not nearly as clear in its hate.

(26,403 posts)Only thing missing is a mention of the attempts of a few to turn this into an issue of entitlement vs the real issue of making sure long-delayed justice is met in order to bring things up to equality.
