Except for the ugly digs at Sec. Clinton and Sen. Sanders, he was pretty funny.

Ted Cruz is, unquestionably, lower than dog excrement on the sole of one's shoe, but implicitly advocating his murder is not acceptable conduct. There is supposed to be a degree of dignity in the Senate: if Mr Cruz erodes that, it does not excuse another Senator doing so as well.

But the point still stands. Lowering the discourse is a sure-fired way to get ten seconds of fame (or a longer period, in Mr Trump's case). At this point, discourse in the U.S. has been so lowered that even people ostensibly on the same team insult each other. Frankly, I'm no fan of Thomas Hobbes, and I am not happy with a war of all against all.

He just wanted tk point out that no one in the Senate would convict the killer.

Yes, it was tasteless, but far from the comments some have made on the www how our country's well-being depends on certain people encountering an early death at some "hero's" hands.

And it came across to me as a pretty decent "Stand Up" routine. A lot of truth in what he said and pretty funny. And he was clearly not being serious about the "kill Ted Cruz" remark.

Not that I would give Sen Graham an "gram" of power if it was up to me.

Its all about who insults who the best. The game of politics has become like a reality TV show.

Trump is teaching them all to speak without a filter.

But of course Republicans are most likely to suggest assassination. Bullies and thugs mostly.
