COLONIAL HEIGHTS - Drivers and pedestrians along the Boulevard Wednesday may have been surprised to see a man dressed in a white robe with KKK insignia and holding a Confederate Battle flag as one protester stood next to him. As the afternoon traffic rolled by the Courthouse, the man stood in front of the Colonial Heights War Memorial on Boulevard as the other unidentified man held a sign reading, “F--k This Guy” with an arrow pointing in the flagger’s direction. The man with the flag ... planned to stand there “until my clothes get cold,” he said ... The protester said the two men grew up together as friends, but their political viewpoints diverged over time ...
