but seven billion humans isn't. If you heard that a city had only 600 residents would that seem like "enough"? I wonder if the people trying to end wildlife protections would think that having only 600 voters on their side is "enough"?


My car was struck by a semi going 50 mph two years ago, then was broken into recently. The glovebox won't close, a mirror is stuck, the driver's side of the car had to be rebuilt. Various bits and pieces no longer work, but the car still runs. Then last week it lost a bolt on the undercarrage and the whole thing felt like it was coming apart. One small part. That's what out ecosystem is like; we keep removing pieces, expecting it to continue to work for us, but eventually an important part is lost and then everything will start to unravel. Let's not wait to act!
