Romney: Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have accepted Trump endorsement
Because it is only recently that Donald Trump started behaving badly. Donald Trump only started boasting about his multiple affairs in 2016. Before 2016 Trump never said that he would probably date Ivanka Trump if she were not his daughter. Only recently did we all learn that Donald Trump had been married three times. Trump only gave an interview with Howard Stern, in which he said his days of sleeping around were his own personal Vietnam and that he saw himself as a good soldier, in 2016. In 2012 Trump had not jumped on the birther train, or made any racially charged comments about President Obama. We may never know why, but in 2016 Trump lost his mind and started insulting women. Before 2016 Trump had never insulted a women. Mitt Romney had no way of knowing, in 2012, that multiple businesses created by Trump had failed and his casinos had gone into bankruptcy 3+ times. It was only on Super Tuesday that Mitt Romney realized that Donald Trump had inherited his real estate development company and a portion of his money from his wealthy father. Finally, in 2012, Mitt Romney did not know that Trump's business decisions had cost numerous Americans their jobs. I am sure that if Mitt Romney had know all these things, in 2012, he would have rejected Donald Trump's endorsement.
