(203 posts)165 degrees for a couple of minutes. That is all it takes. I have milked goats for decades. Though you can get sick from whole milk without being bacterial. Especially cow milk. Goat milk is easier to digest. Most people can't handle all the whey that separates from the cow milk.

I have to buy the raw because I have to keep away from vitamin D. I challenge you to find, in the US, milk without D added.
