He said that "the people should decide" who's on the SCOTUS.

First off we did by electing Obama in a landslide.

Second, the SCOTUS is NOT suppose to be ruled by popular opinion nor by direct democracy. That is why it's a lifetime appointment. To suggest that the "people should decide" puts this squarely into the politics category which makes me wonder if Mitch knows any of this.

My guess is that he does and he's blowing smoke to his ignorant base.
