Wisconsin Exit Poll: Obama 51%, Mitt Romney 45 %

Wisconsin Exit Poll: Obama 51%, Mitt Romney 45 %

This is, in my view, a slightly pro-Walker number (Obama is probably up by 8-10% over Romney in WI) but not indicative of a wildly skewed electorate one way or another. It's consistent with what one would expect from pre-election polling.

(The news stories about Romney contesting Wisconsin are delusional. Obama will win WI easily.)

The hope is an unusually skewed afternoon electorate, in the labor direction. I think the afternoon polling split is slightly Dem-favoring as a rule of thumb.

I can't imagine a pro-Walker voter being for Obama. I just can't get my head around that HereSince1628 Jun 2012 #1

Walker is a radical polarizing force. If Obama is gonna get moderate independents, I think they also break for Barrett.
