Do you not like Obama either? how about Howard Dean? these are all party establishment people.

really everyone who has been in the democratic party in an elected/nominated category is party establishment.

if you are not a fan of any of those people, you shouldn't be on Du in the first place.

hence, the lecture is unwarranted from someone who really has not spent as much time here.

if you want to not support the big D Democratic party, then go to another leftist space. But this is a place to support big D Democrats.

It's one thing to dislike one member like DWS, it's another thing to be against the entire party establishment. If that is truly how you feel, you shouldn't be here.

be on this board. That is, by your definition, a "fan" (i.e. unquestioning toady?) of the current "Big 'D'" Democratic party establishment. There is a difference! I am not a fan of the current DNC or Democratic Party (Big "D&quot establishment. They have led this party down a bad path, lost many, many seats at the federal state and local level. What is there to be a "fan" of? Because they are less shitty than the alternative? That flea bitten dog of an excuse is hunting less and less.

Regardless, I welcome you to this board. If you want to quell questioning or dissent or push it in a more coorporatist/conservative direction, be my guest. Best of luck!!

"Her people punishing BS"

First, the Sanders campaign accused DWS of helping Hillary by limiting the number of debates to the recommended number established ten years ago -- despite the fact that every time they debated, Hillary got a bump over Sanders in the polls.

Next, the Sanders campaign accused DWS of helping Hillary by... well something. They weren't exactly clear. But because Sanders was losing, this had to be her fault. It had nothing to do with Sanders problems with minorities, and the outright racism of some of his supporters. Instead, it was some corrupt mind control that a white Congresswoman from Florida engaged in.

Now, there is the conspiracy theory about Arizona, where the Arizona GOP limited the number of voting booths in minority districts - and this somehow is supposed to hurt the Sanders campaign rather than the Clinton campaign.

No question, there is a lot of BS. But it ain't Bernie Sanders.

You can call that a "superiority complex" if you want, but the constant demonization, fabricating crap about Hillary Clinton (who, just FYI, wasn't even my first choice), just gets old.

I said my piece, and why I know it's yet another stupid conspiracy theory. So if you have something to say, then say it. Just whining that you don't like my calling out of this kind of behavior, and saying it's "snooty" isn't worth jack.

DWS, she's a clod who by her very inactions has sabotaged the Democratic party and may well loose it for whomever the nominee is, which will probably be HRC. Nevertheless, I do believe she is trying to screw with him at the edges it does not help her or Hillary. Not a big deal for Bernie; he's countered her easily while she keeps on shooting off her own feet.

Main Stream Media... well, pretty obvious. Their lack of exposure, cutting him off as he discusses certain ideas that would be damaging to the them or the Oligarchy, not good. Thank Gore for the Internet!

The telling fact is the more time and exposure Bernie has on the stage, the more people come to him. Whether he wins the nomination or not, he and his ideas are taking hold in the party, which needs it badly before it too, disintegrates.

If he'd become the nominee, his stalwart defense of the Sandinista and Castro dictatorships, including explicitly putting his stamp of approval on state controlled media censorship, would doomed him in the general.

Luckily, that isn't going to be a problem.

The GOP turned John Kerry, certified war hero, into a "traitor". What do you imagine they'd do to a guy who actively sympathized with Communists against the US?

More to the point. The US public would absolutely believe it. The focus group studies have already been done.

Why do you think every Democrat in Washington, including people like Howard Dean and Al Frankin, are for Hillary? Why do you think that the Republican billionaires haven't said a peep about him, while running ads against Hillary in the primary, trying to get him to be our nominee?

Here. Go read something. It's short. I promise. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/berned-up

i have friends who are better integrated into the party who have defected to bernie and apparently they've been having trouble with hiring because bernie's campaign doesn't have up to date info on contacts. lots of people with plenty of experience not taking a leadership role and instead volunteering.

don't tell me this is an equal playing field, that simply isn't true.

suppression/disenfranchisement attempts. Building their voter roles... well they ejected that program after Obama got into office by shitcanning Dean and his 50 State Strategy. So they revert back to their ol' voter strategy of "yeah we're shitty, but not as shitty as the other guy" . Frankly, that is wearing thin. So, how did that work out... oh yeah, constant losses at local, state and Federal levels since. Thanks Obama!

It could make sense that going along with the suppression keeps the rabble down so the "establishment" of the parties keeps their cozy positions, even if in 2nd place. Bringing in more people also brings in more ideas so turds like Schulz, Emmanual, et. al. may loose their perches. It can make sense when you politicians become too much "politicians", which is often narcissistic, self-aggrandizing, selfish fucks.

Given the DNC and Democratic Party establishment's poor to non-existent track record of not countering Republican BS over the years at the foundational level, what is one to really think?

They're doing everything they can. Yes, even the hated DWS.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/01/voter-id-laws-assault-on-_n_1123445.html

In an effort to beat back what Democrats are calling a Republican assault on the voting rights of blacks, Hispanics and other minority groups ahead of the 2012 presidential election, the Democratic National Committee has launched a new initiative to educate voters on restrictive mostly Republican-sponsored voter ID laws.

The initiative includes the release of a report, “A Reversal in Progress: Restricting Voting Rights for Electoral Gain,” and the launch of a website www.protectingthevote.org.

Both are intended to “expose efforts by the Republican party to limit the right to vote for political gain,” said Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz during a conference call this morning.

Schultz called the laws “a full-scale assault” on the voting rights of mostly minority voters in states where both groups strongly supported the president in 2008. And that the laws are “essentially designed to rig an election when Republicans can’t win these election on the merits.”

been going on for a number of election cycles... really becoming apparent with the stolen 2000 election, but all the Dem establishment can do is cower and ridicule anyone who calls out the coordinated conspiracy of ALEC, RW billionaires, electronic voting machines and odd vote count changes. Hell, Don Seigleman is still in jail for daring to challenge his stolen election. No help form the party.

What the DNC could do is get people involved like they did when Howard Dean ran it. But that is not in DWS's "plans", nor the corporate friendly Obama administration.

You ask what can they do? All I know is they could do a hell of a lot more. I don't run the fucking DNC, I just get their endless solicitations for more money for less results!
