tRump Trump Drumpf

It has been so funny watching everyone running around gnashing their teeth and screaming at the rain about this waste of space. It's not like he is new. This moron was on TV for years. Though, I am proud to say, I never watched his stupid show, I have seen clips and it was not hard to tell what kind of person he really was.
It's not like he hasn't run for president before. He was an asshole then.
It's not like he didn't jump into that "birther" meme and start making plans with that wingnut sheriff in Arizona.

While some political elites have chosen their friends poorly, most have not. Most Democrats have avoided him like the plague he is.

What this man has said and done is of zero surprise to me.
Given my pessimistic attitude towards the American public, in a big picture, generic sense, I think his chances to win the teapublican nomination is strong and his chance to win the WH is better than we will admit out loud. That being said, I still think teapublicans are as afraid as anybody and willing to throw themselves on the grenade and theorically 'kill' their own party to avoid putting that mad-hatter at the wheel.
Though, being pessimistic, they could just as well climb onto the bus with the mad-hatter at the wheel and drive it right off the cliff. To be honest, either way works for me. The teapublicans created that monster, the teapublicans are that monster. What's that Nietzsche phrase..."for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you." Teapublicans, as a general rule, are no better than the wingnut that now hurdles like a out-of-control rocket to their nomination. You can see the desperate need to change the topic with Paul Ryan's comments yesterday. Way to little, way to late.
No matter what, the Teapublican Party is coming out of this a lot worse than when they went in. That is something we can all be happy about.

If he's placed in the position where he could damage the entire country, we are in deep, deep trouble.

Like the person.
If only a president could weld that amount of power because if they could, than PBO would have used it already to right a lot of wrongs.
I think it would be very fair to say that that idiot would be the most ineffectual and non consequential president in history.
I would really like to believe he won't get elected and that people will surprise me but short of actually blowing us all up, there is no way he could be worse than bush.

3. You're assuming that Trump will act like a normal president subjected to the seperation of powers

Problem is, he's got a little bit of a NPD problem and doesn't really take kindly to boundaries or people telling him he shouldn't do something or can't do something or that he's wrong.

Ideology is the least of my worries about Trump. My worries are that the guy's a proto-fascist and an ego maniac, and that sort of thing never really ends up well.

4. If he makes it to the GE, look for him to put on his semi-sane face.

The real nutter wouldn't re-emerge until inauguration day.

Until then, pay close attention to who he picks as his VP.

I'd LIKE to think the American electorate still has a shred of common sense, but I'm not going to bet large amounts of money on it.
