Californians are lucky. We get Kamala Harris

I was just watching an interview with her, and I wanted to break up the death primary a bit to highlight a Democrat who will be a joy to vote for.

http://www.kamalaharris.org/

She kicked ass and took names on the LGBT issue, but she also has done a ton of work to lift up the disadvantaged.

I can't wait to vote for her.

Her office checked the status and helped us get a settlement.

As far as I am concerned, she is the REAL DEAL.

And that's what impresses me about her. She really has gone all out in making sure people are taken care of. It seems like there is no issue too minor that her office didn't go to bat for.

Every time she's on the news, she's just giving hell in favor of her constituents.

She's a Democratic gem.

that the state of California would own the code for the machines.
They balked and dared her to do something about it (IIRC)
So she started making plans to replace them. California got the code.

I won't swear that is totally accurate. The main thrust - that the voting machine companies bowed to her when everybody else in the country was bowing to the companies - I think is close.

From then on I have been a fan hoping one day she would be on the national scene.

She basically told them to go to hell, and she won.

She's on my top ten of favorite people. She just doesn't take shit.

I fell in (political) love with her that day and have been hoping she would get her chance to step up.

She has already been mentioned as presidential material in the 2020s
