Oh the case is now on SCOTUS' docket. The records are crucial to the 2016 Presidential ELECTION.
If the Supremes say no - he will release them.

If that is true, then Cruz was still in Texas... I wish it was him though.

(5,082 posts)And that journalist/biographer who claims she was depressed and said she would do it has no witnesses. He is a known CIA asset and media implant that has stuck his nose in the JFK assassination and other controversial subjects. The DC Madem threatened to out Cheney days before her death by the way. Too bad our so-called liberal media is too cowardly to bring this up. Too bad DNC/Clintonian types scream tin-foil hat, reality based community every time a possible conspiracy is mentioned. Do these Coincidence Theorists not know there have been 500,000 people in prison on conspiracy charges alone for other crimes? Apparently, a crime cannot be committed if its too big because it stretches their puny minds to a point where they have to contest their entire belief systems and why do that if you're too lazy and comfortable where you are at. It's really quite pathetic and I feel sorry for their kids if they have any.

(5,198 posts)There's always a little black book that comes out every election season, just when things start heating up. Then they disappear back into the woodwork...I think they do this to get some of that election cash, what with money flying around left and right.
But then again this could be different.

(11,175 posts)According to this article:
Suing the judge and other court personnel is one of the classic marks of a nutjob. It's usually seen coming from a layperson who has no understanding of the legal system. For a lawyer to do it... just incredible.
Vinca
(50,299 posts)If he's a nut, Roberts will probably turn it down and the list will be released immediately. If it's not released he was bluffing for whatever reason. I'm wondering who else might be on the list other than whichever presidential candidate is named. There was a clip on the tube of an interview with the DC Madam and she said if you point to all the government buildings in DC, she had clients in all of them.

(4,762 posts)and Fitzmas is right around the corner.
If we have learned anything it is that a tease that seems too good to be true means we are being played by the media. I was really appalled with Maddow for devoting so much of her show (with her usual over dramatic and stunningly redundant presentation style of late -- my wife and I literally shout "we get it already!" when we watch her show, which we do less often now that she seems desperate to communicate with the poorly educated).
This is a trash story. If Cruz has dirt it will come out. This is just a dumb fake however.
nuke stupidity from orbit!
Jarqui
(10,128 posts)such that he cannot be likely to succeed.
He was removed as the DC Madam's attorney shortly after she died by her mother, the executor of her daughter's estate. The judge dealing with the case at the time approved the lawyer change.
Sibley should have tuned over all the evidence to the replacing lawyer.
On this fairly basic ruling, he's going to lose his appeal.
Whether the replacing lawyer, who is still practicing, does anything (or can do anything - depending in a timely way on whether Sibley turned over the documents as evidence), remains to be seen.
