A Step-By-Step Guide to Boycotting GoDaddy.com

Update: Don't miss our guide to which ethical domain hosts you should use instead of GoDaddy.

This week, GoDaddy.com CEO Bob Parsons caused a stir by posting a video of himself killing an elephant in Zimbabwe. Previously, Parsons had upset feminists with his ultra-sexist advertising. It seems like perhaps Parsons and his company aren't necessarily the type of people with whom we'd like to do business, which is why GOOD has decided to pull all of its sites from GoDaddy.com. If you'd like to join us and let Parsons know you don't give money to colonialist misogynists, follow these 10 simple steps.

because of their support of SOPA. I moved half my domains out over the elephant, and am now moving the last out contract be damned.

We chose Start Logic and have had very little trouble with them.
Most of the trouble we did have was due to our ignorance from never having to maintain a web site before. When we got things figured out, we have had no problems since.

I have had several clients who have asked me to help them fix their websites, and I cringe whenever they say it's on Go Daddy...

I left them years ago... but will repost and share this for others...
